With two surf sessions per day, you'll be coached by Lolo, a certified surf instructor, who brings plenty of passion, humor, and personalized feedback to every session. Thanks to our small group sizes and 2–4 filmed surf sessions with video analysis, you'll be able to fine-tune your technique, track your progress, and take your surfing to the next level. And if the waves don't cooperate, yoga and fun excursions offer the perfect alternative.
Beyond the waves, we've got you covered: our private chef Kat will spoil you with fresh, lovingly prepared organic meals throughout the week. With your own bicycle, you can explore the area, discover charming cafés, and soak up the laid-back lifestyle of the French Atlantic coast. A typical day in Hossegor
At JOYRIDE, the waves always come first – that's why we adapt our schedule to the surf conditions. Sometimes we'll get up early to catch a sunrise session, while other days we'll take it slow and head out for the "second shift" in the water.
Times and activities may vary, but here's what a typical day could look like:
8:00 AM – Breakfast at the villa
9:30 AM – Head to the surf spot
9:30–11:30 AM – Coached surf session
12:00 PM – Lunch together at the villa
1:00–2:30 PM – Free time to relax and recharge
2:30 PM – Head to the surf spot
2:30–4:30 PM – Filmed surf session
6:00–7:00 PM – Video analysis
7:30 PM – Dinner together at the villa
Our private chef, Kat, takes care of all our meals, making sure we're always well-fueled for the next surf session.
Every activity is optional – there's absolutely no pressure to participate!
We can't control Mother Nature – and that's part of the adventure! We'll always look for waves that suit our surf levels. If strong winds or storms keep us out of the water, we'll roll out our yoga mats, work on our technique with surfskating, or head out on a bike adventure.
You'll also have the option to treat yourself to a massage (at your own expense, approximately €60 per hour).
And of course, any missed surf sessions will be made up on the following days, whenever conditions allow.
